Mission:
The mission of the South Side Pride collaborative is to strategically coordinate resources and opportunities to maximize the physical, mental, emotional and education potential of all 5th through 8th grade students and families in South Elyria.
What is Southside Pride?
Southside Pride (SSP) is a community collaborative powered by the United Way of Lorain County. Southside Pride serves 5th through 8th grade students in South Elyria, with a specific focus on those who are slated to attend Eastern Heights middle school and Constellation middle school in Elyria.
The Vision of Southside Pride
Our vision is to create a dynamic and inclusive environment where 5th through 8th grade students and families in South Elyria are supported in their personal and academic growth. We strive to foster a community that prioritizes sustainability, health, and safety, where every individual is valued and empowered to reach their full potential. We envision a future where everyone has access to resources, opportunities, and a positive support system that enhances their well-being and contributes to the overall health of our community.
Goals
We believe that every young person deserves access to quality experiences that foster growth and development, and we work tirelessly to provide just that. Our organization serves students in 5th through 8th grade, and our primary goal is to enrich their lives through a variety of programs and activities.
