Southside Pride
Southside Pride (SSP) is a comprehensive youth development program that is dedicated to serving the needs of young people in the South Elyria area. This dynamic initiative is powered by the United Way of Lorain County, and it provides targeted support to students in grades 5 through 8, with a particular focus on those who are slated to attend Eastern Heights and Constellation middle schools in Elyria.
At the heart of Southside Pride is the belief that all young people have the potential to succeed and achieve great things in life, regardless of their background or circumstances. SSP is committed to providing the tools, resources, and support that students need to realize their full potential and build bright futures for themselves.
To achieve this goal, SSP offers a range of academic, personal, and social development programs that are designed to engage and inspire students. These programs are led by dedicated and passionate community leaders and volunteers, who are committed to helping young people reach their goals and succeed in life.
Whether it's through after-school tutoring, mentorship opportunities, or exciting hands-on learning experiences, Southside Pride provides students with the support and guidance they need to succeed. And by working closely with families, schools, and community organizations, SSP helps to create a strong and supportive network of support for young people in South Elyria.
So if you're looking for a way to make a positive impact in the lives of young people in your community, consider joining forces with Southside Pride. Together, we can help build a brighter future for all students in South Elyria.
